Experience

Analise has over 5 years of teaching experience, spread across the Midwest and the Tri-State area. She has instructed numerous beginning and intermediate piano students of all ages as well as beginning voice students and intermediate jazz piano students. Analise is also an experienced theatre music director, working on an individual and group basis with students as young as elementary school, all the way up to professionals. Her favorite part of teaching is figuring out how to effectively communicate the same content to different learning styles and giving students a positive and fun experience with music. She hopes all of her students can develop a lifelong love and appreciation for music and for learning.

Bio

Analise is a professional freelance musician, based in NYC and working across the tri-state area. She began playing piano at the age of 4, and throughout her career has performed in multiple Yamaha Junior Original Concerts (on both the regional and national level), received the Louis Armstrong Award, and performed across the Midwest leading her own jazz ensembles. She was also a national finalist in the 2016 MTNA Composition Competition. Her original musical “Change” premiered at Weber Music Hall in Duluth, Minnesota, in January of 2022. She also released her first album, “Where I am Right Now,” during the final semester of her undergrad.
Professionally, Analise wears a variety of hats – including theatre music director, copyist, arranger, accompanist, teacher, pit keyboardist, composer, and performer. She has worked at the Papermill Playhouse, the Duluth Playhouse, Boat Club Productions and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She also has over 5 years of teaching experience, in both individual and group settings, to students of all ages. She loves getting to know her students on a personal level, developing trust, and instilling a lifelong love of music and independence in learning.
Analise received her Bachelor’s of Music in Theory/Composition and Jazz Studies from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, studying under Diana Shapiro, Asami Hagiwara and Ryan Frane. She will receive her Master’s of Music in Jazz Piano Performance from Queens College in Spring 2025, having studied under David Berkman and Michael Mossman. She also studied under Su-Shing Chiu.
