Bio

Anneliesa T. is a versatile pianist who teaches and performs in many genres: classical; musical theatre; jazz; gospel; and popular music from all eras. Anneliesa’s career as a pianist has given her many opportunities to perform and highlight her love for all music. Anneliesa graduated from the Manhattan School of Music (MSM) in New York City with a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano for vocals. During her classical piano training at MSM, she was privately taught by Thomas Muraco who previously worked with Leonard Bernstein. Other course work at MSM included studies in piano technique, precisive music theory training, accompanying, and language diction coaching. She also furthered her training in accompanying Italian, German, French and musical theatre lessons/classes which she provided for her fellow colleagues.

Anneliesa attended Classic Lyric Arts in Collaborative Piano for Vocals in the summer of 2021 and helped in vocal coaching and musical artistry in performance. Anneliesa is detail oriented, and very musically articulate in various styles and genres. She is also proficient in sight reading as well as composing and arranging music. While at MSM Anneliesa assisted in the arrangement of the orchestral score La Traviata for 2 pianos to accompany a full opera performance. Additionally, she has arranged music for many musical theatre performances which included Peter and the Star Catcher, Oklahoma, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Shrek just to name a few. Anneliesa has a knowledge and experience in using various software music applications: forScore app for iPad; Musescore; Sibelius; and Finale.
