- B.A. from Fordham University
- Ashley has been teaching private saxophone for six years, and works with students of all ages and levels. Her students have gone on to achieve their goals, whether they want to earn top chairs in their school ensembles, expand their skills in a certain genre, or simply want to foster their love of music. Her style of teaching is very goal-driven, so that she can cater her skill set to each individual student to engender a positive, stimulating experience.
Ashley is a NYC-based performer and saxophonist. She holds a B.A. from Fordham University.
Born and raised in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Ashley studied saxophone privately with Dr. Adrien Re of Shenandoah Conservatory, allowing her to develop her sound and earn prestigious honors in her county, district, and state.
She is an established and respected saxophonist in New York City, and has played venues such as 54 Below, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Bruno Walter Auditorium at L.C., The Green Room 42, The Grand Ballroom at 583 Park Avenue, and The Tank Theatre. She also worked a summer stock contract with the Theatre Workshop of Nantucket for their 2019 production of Grease.
Recently, outside of teaching her current roster of students, she has collaborated with other regional and Broadway performers on a socially-distant music video for BroadwayWorld.com, recorded tracks for various projects and albums, played for outdoor church services, and produced her own solo work.
She looks forward to sharing her love of music with you!
