- Private lesson, tutoring, and classroom teaching experience with children of all ages and adults. Ben seeks to provide students with a positive experience learning core musical skills, including ear training, sight – reading, theory, improvisation, and collaboration, encouraging musicians to utilize these skills as anchors for their passion.
Bio
Benjamin L’s. career spans multiple musical avenues, including work as a pianist, composer, conductor, arranger, and instructor. Currently, Benjamin is working on Broadway, substituting Keyboard 1 in the orchestra of Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre. In recent years, he has been hired to be a part of the music teams of 11 of the Boston Conservatory’s Mainstage musicals in various capacities, including audition and rehearsal pianist, Keyboard 1-2, assistant music director, and cover conductor. His compositions span solo, chamber, and large ensemble works, notably having premiered his first piano concerto in March of 2025. Additionally, he has been hired by both NYC theaters and individuals as an arranger.
Benjamin is a Lebanese – American musician currently residing in Connecticut. He earned a Bachelors of Music in Composition from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, with focuses in classical piano and orchestral conducting, both of which he studied privately. Notable instructors include Dr. Eun Young Lee (composition), Dr. Stephen Halloran (composition), Dr. Timothy McCormack (composition), Jonathan Bass (piano), and Larry Isaacson (conducting).
