Experience
Bonnie has been teaching flute lessons since 2000. She enjoys teaching all levels and ages; her favorite part of teaching is when students surprise themselves, by doing something they didn’t know was possible! Many of her students have earned places in youth orchestras, All-State and All-County ensembles, as well as music high schools such as LaGuardia and Special Music School, and college/conservatory flute programs such as the Manhattan School of Music, NYU, SUNY Potsdam, SUNY Fredonia, Ithaca, and others. During lessons, Bonnie helps students to find and develop a rich and expressive tone, neat and fluid finger technique, and their own musically expressive voice.
