- Camille has a special interest in teaching and enjoys working with children and adult students of all levels. She teaches using traditional and Suzuki methods. Camille’s teaching philosophy focuses on the mind body connection and she helps her students develop personalized practice techniques. She also has experience teaching differently abled students.
Camille is an active soloist, chamber musician, and teacher in New York City and Rockland County. She regularly freelances throughout the Tri-State area.
She has premiered as a soloist with numerous orchestras including the North New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the Rockland Symphony, and has performed solo recitals throughout NYC and the larger New York metropolitan area. She has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Hall, Symphony Space and has been broadcast on WQXR classical radio.
Camille has expertise in a wide range of musical genres. She is particularly passionate about contemporary music and has performed alongside the world-renown Kronos Quartet and the JACK Quartet. Camille also has an extensive background in music theory and cello pedagogy. Camille’s playing has been featured and positively reviewed in the British avant-garde music magazine The Wire
