With extensive training in piano performance, piano pedagogy and art administration, Chloe is passionate about assisting young artists perform in concerts, music festivals and competitions. Chloe has been in education since 2019, working with students from beginner to advance level, from 4-year-old to adults, from private lessons to group classes, and from zoom settings to face-to-face. She is proficient at English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Chloe’s lessons are known to be interactive and inspiring with tailor made teaching schedules and materials dedicated to each student, according to one’s unique ability and aims of learning. Chloe aspires to provide mentorships to young musicians, helping them achieve infinite possibilities with their lively imaginations.
Bio
Hong-Kong born classical pianist Chloe C. is an emerging pianist under the tutelage of Arnaldo Cohen and Eleanor Wong, as well as an experienced educator with expertise in performance, music education and art administration.
As a frequent scholar and laureate of international competitions, her achievements include the Bronze medal of International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia, the first-runner up in Steinway & Sons International Youh Piano Competition, the first place Hong Kong — Asia Piano Open Competition, FTCL Piano recital award by the Trinity College London, the third place in the Star River First National Piano Competition , the Buaas Junior Artist of the year & first place in the Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia International Youth Piano Competition, the third place in Manhattan International Young Artists Music Festival, the winner of both Junior Exhibitioner Award and Parsons Music Piano Concerto Award and the first-runner up of Gold Medal Award in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, Jacobs fellowship, J Spanier Classic piano Fellowship, Cecil Leong Scholarhip and Chan Ho Choi Music Enchanting Music Scholarship.
These honours have granted her appearances internationally, including her first concerto debut in concert tour to Taiwan, Radio Television Hong Kong, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, and solo performances in prestigious festival around the globe including Vancouver Piano Sessions (Vancouver), Vivace International Music Festival (United States), International Summer Academy Mozarteum (Salzburg), European Music Institute (Vienna) and Hong Kong Summer Music Festival, where she has worked with renowned artists in the world, including Jerome Lowenthal, Boris Slutsky, Alexander Kobrin, Marina Lomazov, Markus Schirmer, Anna Malikova, Arie Vardi, Leslie Howard, Douglas Humphreys, Julian Martin, Michelle Cann, Peter Lang, Colleen Lee, Gabriel Kwok, Nancy Loo and Mary Wu.
