Chloe has over a decade of teaching under her belt, working with students of all ages and abilities. Her teaching separates musical and stylistic elements while equally valuing both. Chloe develops individual lesson plans for each student based on her educational experiences.
Bio
Chloe L is a singer, songwriter, and educator originally from Singapore. She has lived around the world and has an extensive background in a variety of genres; hence her work reflects a unique musical upbringing with diverse experiences.
Chloe started learning piano at age four. She was trained in playing the tuba in her high school concert orchestra. Playing with orchestras expanded her ears and sight-reading ability. She also was heavily involved in the jazz band in Singapore Polytechnic, which allowed her to grace an array of prestigious stages, including the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Singapore.
Chloe attended Berklee College of Music, studying with teachers including Peter Eldridge of the New York Voices, Paula Cole, Bonnie Hayes, and Sarah Brindell. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2018 with a BA in Songwriting.
At Berklee, Chloe performed in many Singer-Songwriter Showcases. She received the Songwriting Department’s Jack Perricone scholarship, and the Berklee Achievement Scholarship.
