Bio
Cole H. is a violinist and educator who guides young musicians in developing technical excellence and mindful practice habits. His students build problem-solving skills, focused attention, and the confidence to tackle everything from Bach to brand- new compositions—abilities that extend well beyond music.
As a unique artist, Cole brings real-world performing experience into the lesson room, having premiered dozens of new works and performed everywhere from concert halls to coffee shops. This diverse background helps him teach students to approach any repertoire with curiosity and confidence.
Cole founded Riverwalk Arts Camp, a summer institute that integrates mindfulness with music instruction for intermediate to advanced young string players. He believes that focused attention enhances both musical performance and daily life.
Cole earned his Master’s Degree from the Manhattan School of Music in Contemporary Performance and his Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University in Violin Performance, graduating summa cum laude. His mission is to use sound to inspire and enrich lives through nurturing confident, mindful musicians.
