Experience
Efrat has been playing piano for over 15 years and has taught private lessons for over 5 years. She has taught at a university level as well as children as young as 4 years old. She has helped students prepare for qualifying exams (ABRSM) and also students who have never played the piano before. In her lessons, the focus is always on the student and their personal goals/needs.
Bio
Efrat B. is a pianist who teaches and performs classical and contemporary music. She recently graduated from New York University (NYU) with her second Master of Music in Piano Performance degree. During her time there, she performed in a multitude of concerts including with the NYU Contemporary Music Ensemble. She also was piano faculty at NYU, teaching group and private piano lessons to undergraduate students of all levels. During her first master’s degree, at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, she received a well-rounded education on music history, philosophy of aesthetic, and non-western music.
