Since arriving to New York, Emiliano has studied with instrumentalists and composers Dave Douglas, Marcus Strickland, Matt Wilson and Kirk Nurock; guitarists Adam Rogers, Mike Moreno, Peter Bernstein, Nir Felder, Steve Cardenas, Vic Juris, Jack Wilkins, Richard Boukas, and Rory Stuart; and pianists Joanne Brackeen, George Cables, Garry Dial, and Rachel Z. While attending The New School, Emi was a member of the audition based Herbie Hancock Ensemble directed by George Cables and Rory Stuart’s Advanced Rhythm Ensemble where he first met and collaborated with young rising jazz stars pianist James Francies, vibraphonist Joel Ross, and drummer Jeremy Dutton.

Now an honors graduate, Emiliano continues gaining recognition in the modern jazz scene as a rising contemporary improviser, composer, and arranger; leading/sidemanning gigs and teaching in the greater New York area.
