Alongside her career as a solo performer, Emiliya has developed years of teaching experience and enjoys working with students of all ages and levels. She prepares students for lessons, recitals, competitions, and other musical events. Her teaching approach combines ear training and music theory, helping students become well-rounded musicians while fostering a love of music. In New York, Emiliya maintains a private studio where she works with students ranging from young beginners to advanced performers. Her mission as a teacher is to nurture true musicianship and artistry in every student.
Bio
Emiliya M. began her piano studies at an early age and made her orchestral debut at the age of ten. She was privileged to attend the Kharkiv State Music Lyceum, where she studied with distinguished pedagogues of the Soviet tradition. During her years of study, she participated in numerous festivals and competitions across Ukraine, Russia, and Europe. After moving to the United States, Emiliya continued her education at the Eastman School of Music, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance. She is now pursuing her Master of Music in piano performance at the Manhattan School of Music. Emiliya has appeared in some of New York’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, New York City Center, Sony Hall, Steinway Hall, and others. She is also the recipient of prizes from international competitions and several named scholarship awards recognizing her artistic achievements.
