Emily C. is making her mark around the country as one of the top notch accompanists, pianists and keyboardists in the musical theatre world. She is highly educated in classical and jazz as well as a strong deep love for the oldies, R&B, soul, pop and rock. Emily started her training at age 8 on piano, where her teachers stressed sight reading, theory, technic as well as music being fun and a way to learn life skills. Emily teaches in the same way, with FUN and life skills being the leading factor, deeply being based in self worth and self accountability. Emily learned flute, piccolo, oboe, vibraphone and other percussion along the way. She earned her Bachelor of Music, Piano Performance, Jazz Studies at California State University Northridge in 2010. Emily toured with the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra as the featured pianist all over China in 2017, played summer stock in New Hampshire and toured California with a band right out of college. Emily is now deeply rooted in the New York Musical Theatre scene, as the main accompanist with a handful of acting coaches, and the go to audition accompanist for several casting agents. She feels strongly that great education is the key to great humans and a great future for the world.
