Experience
Erica received her training as a teacher from esteemed professor and performer Edward Arron, serving as his graduate teaching assistant from 2022-2024. She has experience teaching private lessons from elementary through the college level, preparing students for auditions, competitions, performances, and the joy of playing in every day life. With a passion for understanding the physicality of playing the cello, Erica works to get to the root of difficulties, sharing with the student the tools to make cello playing pain-free, exciting, and rewarding. Her love of teaching comes from the opportunity to help every cellist discover their voice and identity as a musician, and the fulfillment of the reciprocal knowledge she receives from every interaction with her students. In addition to cello, Erica also teaches beginning piano.
