Experience:

In addition to performing, Francesca also taught for 2 years as an adjunct piano instructor at NYU. She has also taught piano for 1 year in Indonesia and 6 years in Australia. Her students have ranged from 5 years old to undergraduate seniors. Her experience with music education and performance has made her a versatile teacher, acquiring many insights into piano technique, music theory, harmony, rhythm, composition, as well as ear training and sight reading practice.

Originally from Indonesia and now based in New York City, Francesca P. is an emerging artist on the international jazz scene. She recently graduated from New York University after completing a Masters in Music and recorded her 3rd album featuring Drew Gress, Alan Ferber, Mike Rodriguez and Dave Pietro. Francesca’s music draws from a wealth of original material in addition to a deep knowledge of the jazz tradition, which she renders with fresh modern interpretations.
