Greg has years of experience teaching a wide range of ages and experience levels and is excited to help guide you through your musical journey, wherever you may be in it. He believes every student is capable of not only achieving their goals at the piano, but also having fun while doing it. Through his passion and enthusiasm for music, his goal for every student is to get them as excited about making music as he is.
Bio
Greg T. (23), at the age of 17, just seven years after starting piano recreating what he saw on YouTube videos on a small toy keyboard, made his Carnegie Hall debut as the prize-winner for Best Performance of a Romantic Composition at the New York Piano Festival and Competition. Since then, he has performed in venues throughout New York and Michigan such as Kilbourn Hall, Paul Recital Hall, and the Michael A. Guido Theatre with the Dearborn Symphony. He is a frequent prize winner in international competitions including the Thousand Islands International Competition, the Marian Garcia International Piano Competition, and the Kuleshov International Piano Competition where he won first prize. Greg has studied with several accomplished pianists including Nelita True, Boris Slutsky, and Alan Chow. He currently studies at The Juilliard School with Professor Julian Martin.
