Bio
A Los Angeles native, Hannah graduated with her Master’s in Vocal Performance from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami last year. During her time at Frost, Hannah portrayed Mrs. Fiorentino in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene and originated the role of Mamah Borthwick in Shawn Crouch’s Stained Glass. She also debuted the famous Dulcissime solo in Carmina Burana, conducted by Amanda Quist. While in Miami she participated in the premiere of Frank La Rocca’s Requiem for the Forgotten in collaboration with the Benedict the XVI institute. Hannah has also appeared as a soloist in Mendelssohn’s Elijah on two occasions— with the Arizona Philharmonic and with the Bob Cole Symphony Orchestra respectively. This past summer, she performed in the chorus for Haydn’s Creation and a curated choral concert with Joe Miller at the Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, South Carolina.
Most recently, she toured with Seraphic Fire, performing in their annual Christmas concerts across South Florida and Grafton, Vermont. This season she looks forward to returning as a soloist in Carmina Burana with Ryan Brandau and Princeton Pro Musica as well as returning to the Spoleto Festival to perform the Bach B minor mass and in the chorus for a concert production of Thais. Hannah enjoys singing genres outside of classical music – musical theater, folk, jazz and indie. Hannah can regularly be heard singing with the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church choir in New York City.
