Hayden has taught a variety of age ranges piano, theory, and composition. Whether you are looking to study classical pieces, learn how to play jazz standards, pop, accompany yourself as a singer, or compose and arrange your own music Hayden is ready to work with you and help you achieve your goals.
Hayden is a pianist, composer, and arranger originally from Atlanta, GA. He is the youngest of 4 children who all enjoyed playing piano, guitar, and writing their own songs. Hayden grew up listening to his parents play songs from musicals and watching his brothers write and perform their own music. This environment was full of inspiration and stimulation for Hayden to feed off. Hayden went on to study music composition and piano at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. There he met many wonderful teachers and fellow students who would challenge and inspire his musical tastes and world views. Hayden has studied under Larry Bell, Anne Goldberg-Baldwin, Dave Frank and participated in Masterclasses with composer Tania Leon and Pianist/Educator Kenny Werner. Hayden has lived abroad in China, Korea, and has spent time in many other countries including Italy, Philippines, France, England and more. These experiences have added and expanded his senses as a composer and also as a person in the world.
