American tenor Hayden S. brings over six years of private teaching experience to his studio, working with students ranging from young beginners to seasoned professionals. Known for his “burnished tenor [that] is blessed with technique and glorious phrasing” (HoustonPress), Hayden is committed to helping singers build a solid classical foundation that supports healthy, expressive singing across all musical genres.
Hayden’s professional career spans a wide variety of operatic and concert repertoire, with performances at leading companies such as Des Moines Metro Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, the Glimmerglass Festival, and more. Recent highlights include Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville, Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette, and roles in several world premieres, including The Rip Van Winkles and American Apollo. He has also appeared as a soloist at Carnegie Hall and with orchestras across the U.S.
