With nearly twenty years teaching experience, Jessica has taught piano to students ages 4 to adults and various levels in both private and group settings. In addition to teaching songs, Jessica enjoys teaching note reading, sight reading, ear training, and technique.

Jessica H. is a performing ice dancer and a teacher of figure skating and piano. Jessica completed her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at NYU Steinhardt in 2012 where her graduate solo piano recital featured music by Russian composers including works of Prokofiev and Scriabin, as well as compositions by Beethoven and Liszt. She studied with Miyoko Lotto, Jose Ramon Mendez, and Matti Raekallio, and was also an adjunct piano instructor while at NYU. Jessica has taught private and group piano lessons in Manhattan and New Jersey. Jessica is a six-time Finnish National Ice Dance Champion and she and her ice dance partner competed in the World and European Figure Skating Championships in 2002-2004. She received her Bachelor of Science in 2006 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, majoring in Brain and Cognitive Sciences and then moved to the NYC area. In addition to teaching, she is a principal dancer for the Ice Theatre of New York.
