- Johnny teaches guitar, bass and ukulele to students of all ages. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Johnny can teach any style of music a student is looking to learn.
Based in Brooklyn New York and traveling throughout the US, CA and the UK, Johnny has been building his career steadily. While performing with WILSEN he has opened for high-profile acts such as London Grammar, Daughter, Rodriguez, Patrick Watson and Haerts. Throughout his touring career he has played many notable venues such as the 02 Academy Brixton London UK, The 02 Academy Glasgow UK, The Chicago Theatre, The Great Escape Festival Bristol UK and many more.
Johnny began playing guitar at the age of 13 teaching himself by ear. Once he graduated high school he spent a year at Holyoke Community College and then continued his studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma. At Berklee, he focused his growth on the guitar with Kevin Barry and David Tronzo majoring in Guitar Performance.
Johnny started his composing, recording and producing career back in 2006 when he opened a studio in Boston, MA while attending Berklee College of Music. With his diverse musical background, he’s inspired by creating lush audio landscapes that are emotive and colorful. Through his years of experience, he has built a vast knowledge of music theory, performance techniques and digital audio workstations that foster a streamlined approach to recording, performing and teaching that maintains creativity and excitement.
