Jordan is a trumpet player based in New York, and a recent graduate from Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, Jordan studied music education, trumpet performance, and instrument repair. His experiences at school and playing gigs has given him a wealth of knowledge about being a musician and educator, and he hopes to use these experiences to guide his students in the right direction to become the best musicians they can be. Jordan’s background comes from playing in concert band, orchestra, and jazz band since elementary school, and he has since adapted to playing various styles of music that range from musical theater to indie rock and everything in between. Jordan’s professional playing experience mainly consists of playing in musical theater pits and touring around the country with indie rock and funk bands. Jordan’s goal when he teaches students is to motivate them and get them interested in playing trumpet and euphonium by getting them to play the music that they enjoy playing.
