Kiho was born in Japan but grew up internationally and has travelled around the world during her childhood. Her unique upbringing helps shape her individuality as an artist.
She has done multiple orchestra/ensemble works performing at notable venues such as Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, John F. Kennedy Center, Beacon Theater etc.
She currently does more solo work as a violinist, most notably as the violinist of John The Martyr, a 9 piece rock band based in New York City, which the Billboard magazine has described as “undeniably soulful.” With the group she has travelled to SXSW Festival, Tipitina (New Orleans, LA) and many other venues mostly in this tri-state area.
Being bilingual, Kiho has also worked to bring the two cultures together through music. She performed at the One World Observatory for a gala hosted by the government of Fukushima (prefecture in Japan) to promote their produces and helped bring several Japanese musicians to the USA to perform, as the orchestra manager of the iTSO (iconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra).
