- Kippeum has over 10 years of performing experience, including a variety of operas and recitals. She also has taught 4 years of teaching (basic vocalization, operas, art songs, and church music).
Kippeum S., mezzo-soprano, is a classical vocalist who graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Ohio studying with Dina Kuznetsova. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in classical voice performance from South Korea. Kippeum has also studied the piano for 12 years.
Kippeum has sung in a number of operas as a mezzo-soprano. Performance credits include Le Nozze di Figaro (Marcellina), Die Zauberflöte, K. 620 (Third Lady and Third Spirit), La Traviata (Flora), Mozart Coronation Mass K.317, a night of Korean Art Song and Opera Aria. She also had a lot of stage experience, including chorus in Die Zauberflöte, K. 620, The Juniper Tree, Nabucco, La Bohème, and in Beethoven Symphony No.9. Kippeum S. has also performed in churches.
She enjoys instructing students in basic vocalization, classical music, and other art songs.
