Bio
Lauren S. is a Norwegian-American soprano and educator. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Lauren is now based in New York City, where she maintains an active private studio teaching voice at all levels and beginner piano. A classically trained performer, Lauren has appeared in operatic productions in the United States and abroad, including at the Varna International Music Academy, where she performed Anna Maurrant in Street Scene. Other featured roles include Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, the title role in Rusalka, and Micaëla in Carmen. While her performance background is rooted primarily in opera, she is stylistically fluent and comfortable teaching across genres.
