Maxime C.

Location: Manhattan, NYC

Education

  • BM in Performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

Experience

  • Recently graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, I have taught drums privately for over 6 years. I had the chance to teach students with different backgrounds, going from young children to teenagers and adults. My teaching approach is always focused on giving a solid technical basis while developing creativity and keeping the lesson fun.
  • I want to give everyone a chance to find their inner sense of rhythm, play with it, challenge it and develop it to further their potential on the drums. I love to have students playing along to songs that they like studying the drum part together and finding how to replicate it on the instrument. Throughout my career, I have played pop, rock, jazz, funk, but also traditional music from India, China, Africa and Latin America. I’m always eager to use and share that knowledge so that I can address every student’s needs in relation to their personal goals.
