Max has taught private electric and upright bass lessons in person and online for six years in Dallas, Boston, and New York. Max is experienced in performing and teaching a number of different musical styles such as jazz, rock, R&B, fusion, pop, country and beyond. He is also adept at teaching music theory and improvisation.

Max is an up and coming bassist, originally hailing from Dallas, TX. He studied with Lynn Seaton during his high school years, while attending the world famous Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Max received a full tuition scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music and he graduated cum Laude in May, 2017, having studied with Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Victor Bailey, James Genus, Hal Crook, etc. He has played, performed, or recorded with Tia Fuller, Jack DeJohnette, Bob Mintzer, George Garzone, Bernard Wright, Sean Jones, Marshall Gilkes, Chris Cheek, Arturo Sandoval, James Francies, Beka Gochiashvili, Cameron Graves, Mike Mitchell, Shelley Carroll, The Funky Knuckles, David Gilmore, Lamine Toure and Group Saloum, Wycliffe Gordon, Mark Lettieri, and Warren Wolf.
