Mica has taught violin and viola to students since 2010. He enjoys teaching in classroom settings, leading small ensembles and sectionals at high schools as well as private lessons.
Mica has helped many of his students achieve success in statewide competitions and he truly have a passion for watching his students progress and offering any help he can in order to help them meet their goals.

An avid educator, Mica P. has been teaching both privately and in group settings since before he finished his undergraduate degree. He has most recently earned his Masters degree in Viola Performance at New York University, and earned a full scholarship to the prestigious and competitive Chautauqua Summer Festival in 2017. Mica has studied with notable violin and viola teachers from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, as well as renowned viola teacher Dr. Marylin Seelman, and completed his Masters degree under the tutelage of internationally known viola pedagogue, Karen Ritscher. Mica is currently undergoing an intensive Suzuki method teaching certification program at Manhattan’s School for Strings, and currently serves as a teaching artist for the Noel Pointer foundation, where he serves as both a string orchestra and violin class teacher. He has had the pleasure to have performed with local orchestras in Atlanta such as the Atlanta Pops Orchestra on both violin and viola, as well as New York City’s Salome Chamber Orchestra. In the past, his students have received numerous accolades both within their schools and in statewide competitions.
