Nhat has taught a wide range of ages, from beginner to advanced levels. He believes it is important to tailor to the student’s learning style and make sure that they feel comfortable in the lesson. He has also taught theory and aural skills professionally to BM and MM level students. Nhat offers lesson in both English and Vietnamese.

Nhat N. is a Vietnamese pianist and composer seeking a delicate balance between performing and writing music. He has given performances in New York, Los Angeles, Hanoi and Manila. He studied piano and composition at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Manhattan School of Music. His piano teachers include Dr. Minh Anh Nguyen, who studied at the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Dr. Marjean Olson. Nhat has taught students from Vietnam National Academy of Music, as well as younger age groups to help provide them the skills they need to apply for the Academy. As the winning composer of the 2019 Manhattan Prize String Quartet competition, his works have been performed by the Manhattan School of Music Orchestra, Hanoi New Music Ensemble, Ripieno Ensemble, Ajax Quartet, confluss duo, alumni from the Contemporary Performance Program of the Manhattan School of Music and conducted by Joseph Carlomagno and Grammy-winner Jeff von der Schmidt.
