As a music student at the University of Pennsylvania, she performed with the University Wind Ensemble and Choral Society, as well as in the orchestra for musical theater productions. Nina also wrote arrangements for campus a cappella choirs and provided musical direction for a variety of student organizations. After graduating summa cum laude, with honors in Music, Nina joined Teach for America and served for two years as a high school music teacher in rural Mississippi. Now based in Brooklyn, Nina is training to become a sound engineer, while continuing her work in music education. Nina is excited to teach clarinet and woodwinds to students in the NYC area!
