Experience:

Sam has taught private piano, theory and voice lessons with young children and adult through the Shalala MusicReach Program at the University of Miami. Earning a 5 on the AP Music Theory exam, Sam has an overview of theoretical and performance education in contemporary, classical and jazz idioms. He is pitch perfect and can quickly learn and notate music and is also proficient in music production and recording as well as notation software.

Sam is a Pop Keyboardist, Songwriter/Producer, and Composer, who has toured with two bands and gigged with many solo artists. He has had the pleasure to play at the GroundUP Music Festival, Okeechobee Music Festival, SoFar Sounds, WLRN Radio and the Adrienne Arsht Center, performing with Il Volo, Michael McDonald, GRiZ, Eric Krasno, members of Snarky Puppy and Vulfpeck, Gallant, Lawrence, Becca Stevens and Darmon Meader. He also has music on Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud and YouTube.
Last summer, Sam worked for a composer in LA, composing additional music for Cartoon Network’s Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Dreamworks’ Harvey Street Kids, films Hope Spring Eternal and Calvinist, and composing the score for “Retro Couture,” which screened in Miami, Panama and Brussels.
