Soulbin L.

Violinist Soulbin L. resides in New York City and is a recent graduate from Mannes School of Music, completing her Bachelor of Music degree under Lewis Kaplan and Yibin Li. As an active orchestral musician, Soulbin has been a member of the Toronto Youth Symphony Orchestra and Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and has been mentored by members of the Boston Symphony and the Metropolitan Opera. While at Mannes, she also had the opportunity to be the concertmaster of The New School Community Orchestra, conducted under David Hayes.  Furthermore, as a chamber musician, Soulbin has been coached by members of the Jack Quartet, Chiara String Quartet, Shanghai Quartet, and Kronos Quartet. During summers, Soulbin has continuously engaged in music festivals such as the International Summer Academy Mozarteum, Cremona International Music Festival, and Sesto Rocchi Open Chamber Music Festival.
