Sung has experience teaching piano to students of all levels and ages. He has taught in schools and private settings for many years. 

Bio

Native Korean Pianist Dr. Sung Y. has appeared in concert halls around the world, including solo recitals in Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Japan, South Korea, and the United States. Sung Ho’s most recent concert performances include the Guest Artist Recital Series at JCC on the Palisades, Tenafly, the Distinguished Artist Concert at Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center, the DeMenna Center for Classical Music in New York, and a Festival at Pearl River.

Sung Ho has collaborated with Dr. Katharine Sun Cho since 2018 and has published five flute and piano albums performing German and French composers. As a faculty and collaborative pianist, he has taught and accompanied string instruments music prodigies at the Summer Music Festival at the several schools, Kirov International Music Festival, and non-profit organizations. With many string instrument students, he has auditioned at the Juilliard School, Mannes School of Music, and Manhattan School of Music.

Sung Ho Yang graduated with Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees, and a Graduate Diploma in Piano Performance, from the New England Conservatory of Music, and received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
