An experienced teacher, Susannah previously worked with several London-based music teaching agencies, teaching one-to-one music lessons to children and teenagers. Susannah is excited to bring her teaching expertise to NYC!
Bio
Susannah H. is a versatile British soprano currently based in New York City. Born and raised in London, she came to the United States in 2021 to pursue a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, graduating in 2023. Previously she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from the Royal College of Music in London.
Susannah’s professional credits since graduating include a vocal fellowship and chorus artist position with the Spoleto Festival USA, and she has performed operatic roles including the title role in Patience (College Light Opera Company), Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Opera Aeterna), Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro (Boston Conservatory Opera), Susannah (cover) in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah (Boston Conservatory Opera) and Eurydice in Orpheus in the Underworld (Hawaii Performing Arts Festival). She has won prizes from prestigious competitions including the Orpheus Vocal Competition, the Opera Mississippi John Alexander National Vocal Competition and the Pasadena Vocal Competition. Susannah is currently a member of the professional choir of Marble Collegiate Church in NYC.
