Experience
Tamar has always had a sincere passion for teaching. In addition to performing in venues like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center Tamar has taught children as young as 6 up through senior citizens. She loves teaching beginners as well as advanced students.
Bio
In May 2023, Tamar performed her solo debut in Carnegie Hall as a cellist and composer performing her own composition ‘Roots.’ Tamar was invited to perform her compositions on WQXR radio station ‘Young Artists Showcase’ podcast and at the prestigious Cello Biennale Festival in Amsterdam.
She performed concerts at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Sony Hall and NYPL and recorded broadcasts for the Israeli National Radio.
She participated in master classes with Steven Isserlis, Ralph Kirshbaum, Gary Hoffman, Frans Helmerson and attended festivals in Israel, Europe and the US.
Tamar is a recipient of the Certificate of Honor from Maestro Zubin Mehta, the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra and The Buchmann Mehta School of Music for her outstanding achievements in the orchestra training program.
