Bio

Tiffany graduated with a B.A in Flute and Vocal Performance from Schreiner University. After graduation, Tiffany quickly realized you can’t really sing and play the flute at the same time, and that is when she discovered her love for the ukulele and writing songs. In December of 2016, Tiffany moved to New York City from Austin, TX, and started the Brooklyn Ukulele Festival in 2018-a 2 day event containing ukulele workshops and performances from ukulele players all over the world.

Tiffany enjoys playing vintage jazz songs from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, and brings this style of music into her own songwriting. Tiffany writes and performs under the name of Gwendolyn Fitz, and recently released her first single, Painter Painter, a coming-of-age story about figuring out who you are amidst a lot of uncertainty. Tiffany has also composed a musical, ‘Ease of a Murder’, which only uses the ukulele as its instrumentation. The musical won Best Show with Music at the 2021 Pittsburgh Fringe Festival.
