Experience
Veronika has six years of experience teaching cello students of all ages. She has also taught group classes and coached middle and high school string orchestras throughout the greater San Diego area.
Bio
Veronika is a New York based cellist and teacher. She had the privilege of studying with principal cellist of the San Diego Symphony, Yao Zhao, and has participated in masterclasses and coachings with members of the Kronos Quartet, Jack Quartet, Brooklyn Rider and Formosa Quartet. Veronika further developed her musical and pedagogical skills teaching at several music studios and public middle and high schools in the Greater San Diego Area. Veronika is currently continuing her education at the New School under the guidance of cellist Matt Haimovitz.
Veronika is a passionate music educator, and prioritizes students’ ease of playing and expression. Her interest and experience in the Alexander Technique greatly informs her teaching, and she adapts lessons to each student’s individual needs and interests. Veronika enjoys working with students of all ages, and is prepared to teach lessons in English, Spanish and Polish.
