Experience
Victoria began teaching cello and beginner piano in 2018 in Houston, Texas. She later served as adjunct cello faculty at New York University, where she taught non-major students of varying experience levels over two years. In addition to private teaching, Victoria is committed to making music education more accessible and regularly teaches in underserved communities. She believes in nurturing each student’s potential by building a strong technical foundation and fostering healthy practice habits, creating the space for their musicality and passion to thrive.
Bio
Victoria began her musical studies at age seven in Australia and moved to the United States at fourteen. A passionate orchestral musician, she has performed at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, the Apollo Theater, and the DiMenna Center with ensembles such as the American Composers Orchestra, The Little Orchestra Society, and the New York Pops. During her time at New York University, she served as principal cellist for the NYU Orchestra and other university ensembles.
In 2024, Victoria was selected as a fellow at the Eastern Music Festival, where she performed weekly in the faculty orchestra and participated in outreach concerts with other fellows. She is also an avid chamber musician and a founding member of the Kompass Quartet, who were the 2023 Young Artists in Residence with the Craftsbury Chamber Players. As part of the residency, the quartet performed alongside principal players from the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, New Jersey Symphony, and the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra. Dedicated to musical equity and innovation, Kompass is committed to championing works by underrepresented composers and regularly performs and premieres contemporary repertoire.
