5 years of professional experience as an actor, singer, and pianist. Nearly 20 years as a pianist and 4 years devoted to studying vocal performance. Experience teaching voice and coaching repertoire to performers from ages 3-30.

Curtis is an actor, singer, pianist, and music director. Curtis received a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance (Musical Theatre) from New York University after moving to the city from Nebraska. While pursuing a degree in voice, Curtis also worked at NYU as a pianist for voice lessons and recitals and as a vocal coach for students. After graduation Curtis stayed on at NYU as a staff pianist, continuing to play for voice lessons, recitals, and coachings. His work also includes music directing and conducting stage musicals as well as acting regionally in productions. As an educator Curtis has worked with students and performers of all ages, serving as a teaching artist for youth theatre courses and freelancing as a vocal coach throughout the city. Curtis values performing and educating equally and enjoys exploring his own craft while helping others.
