Chris is thrilled to be sharing his passion for music and teaching as part of the MTYH team. Originally from Homewood, AL, Chris is a performer, educator, music director, and arranger with extensive experience in both classical music and musical theatre. He is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and the American Federation of Musicians and currently serves as Project Coordinator for NYC’s Sing for Hope “Pianos” Project. Chris believes strongly in the transformative power of music and music education, particularly in terms of developing personal and social happiness and well-being. He lives with his cat, Mistoffelees, on the Upper West Side.
