Camille E. is a violinist based in New York City. Native of San Francisco, Camille began her violin studies at age 8 with Daryl Schilling. Camille was a student of and played in many concerts with the Villa Sinfonia Foundation from elementary school through high school in the San Francisco Bay Area. She went on a European Tour in 2005 as a member of Villa Sinfonia Orchestra and also performed with them at Davies Symphony Hall. As an orchestral musician, Camille has performed with the UCSB Chamber Orchestra, UCSB Contemporary Music Ensemble, NYU Symphony, and has participated in many pit orchestras for musicals and operas in both NYU Steinhardt and UC Santa Barbara productions. As a chamber musician, she has performed in the San Francisco Conservatory’s Summer Music West, Villa Sinfonia’s Zephyr Camp, and in quartets at UCSB and NYU. In addition to performing, she is also currently Adjunct Faculty NYU where she teaches private violin lessons.
Camille received a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance in 2015 from University of California, Santa Barbara, where she studied with Yuval Yaron. She also minored in Art History during her undergraduate studies. Camille is currently a Masters of Music candidate at New York University where she studies with Naoko Tanaka.
