Tim loves to teach. He began playing guitar at age 10 and trombone, electric bass, euphonium and tuba a few years later. Tim decided he wanted to choose a career as a musician when he was 15. He has been teaching beginning guitar students since high school. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and holds Bachelor and Masters degrees from Manhattan School of Music. Tim teaches at Lehigh University, JP Stevens high school in Edison, NJ and has taught students of all ages at Elefante Music in New Brunswick, NJ and at his home studio. He performs regularly with The Dave Liebman Big Band, The Bobby Sanabria Multiverse Big Band, and the BMI Jazz Composer’s Workshop Orchestra to name a few. Tim has been involved with Broadway Orchestras in NY for many years.
