Julie is a passionate educator who taught piano and voice in New York since 2010 and taught in India since 2014. Her teaching style is patient and encouraging, and she urges students to develop self-confidence and self-discipline. She loves working with beginners and professionals, helping students explore their musical capabilities and use their creativity through music-making. She is experienced teaching private music lessons, college-level ear training, and leading workshops on choral singing, composition, and songwriting.

Julie H. is a singer/composer who performs jazz, classical, and indie pop. She studied Composition at the Manhattan School of Music (B.M., 2014) and sang professionally since 2007, enjoying performances at Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall as a choral singer, recording on Sony Masterworks as an indie rock singer, and touring India as a jazz singer. In addition to her work writing concert music, Julie co-produced a record of pop songs (J:D) with guitarist/producer Dan Saa of the band Los Amigos Invisibles.
