Yida has performed internationally in countries including Japan, China, Germany, Italy and the USA. He was the winner of the Rudolf Serkin prize at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2009, and represented the conservatory to perform in an honorary concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC in May 2010. In the same year he also won the Oberlin Concerto Competition. In May 2015, he won the first prize of Mieczyslaw Munz Competition. Yida received his Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory in 2011 and Master of Music degree from Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University in 2013 with full scholarships. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Manhattan School of Music in the studio of Dr. Marc Silverman. He is also a teaching assistant of Required Piano department at Manhattan School of Music.
