Steven is truly making a name for himself as an artist to look out for. Since moving to New York City in 2009, Stevenhas been afforded the opportunity of performing and collaborating with some of the most recognizable names in jazz at venues throughout the world. Notable performances include Jazz at Lincoln Center with Stefon Harris and Chris Potter, Rockefeller Center with Lenny Pickett, and the Blue Note NYC with Bryan Lynch. In the fall of 2011, Steven was selected as a semifinalist to the prestigious Thelonious Monk Competition.
As Steven’s passion for music has grown, so has his penchant for writing. His original compositions and arrangements have been played around the world by artists such as Stefon Harris, Paul McCandless, Lenny Pickett, Bryan Lynch, Rich Perry, and Dave Pietro. Steven plans to release a full length album of original music in the Spring of 2014.
