Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Will moved to New York in 2003 to pursue his love for jazz. As a recipient of the SHO Performing Artist Award, and the John Coltrane Scholarship, he was able to attend the Manhattan School of Music. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 2007 and went on to complete his Master’s in 2009. At the age of 24, Will has already performed and recorded with many jazz greats including Joe Lovano, Dave Liebman, Toninho Horta, George Garzone, and Steve Wilson to name a few. Not limited to the jazz world, he has also worked as a classical percussionist and in the cabaret scene, most notably in a run at the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel with Broadway star Euan Morton. Will has toured throughout the United States as well as in Canada and Europe. In New York, Clark has performed at Carnegie Hall, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, and the Jazz Standard among other venues. He continues to live and play in Manhattan.
