Experience:
I will help you find your true voice through the freedom of technique. Learning how to use your voice in a healthy way is the foundation for all styles of singing. In addition to improving vocal technique and expanding repertoire, I also prepare students for college auditions, NYSSMA festivals, competitions, and school productions. In addition to teaching privately, I also have experience teaching at a collegiate level; designing and teaching undergraduate “MUS143A: Beginning Voice for Non-Majors” at Binghamton University. I became a professional singer through hard work and dedication, and feel strongly that my students can do the same. With hard work, small improvements over time are what lead to impressive sounds. The human voice works similarly for everyone, but no two voices or students are the same. My exercises are tailor-made for each student, teaching the basic concepts of vocal technique within an individualized approach for maximum results. I believe in improving technique, not teaching toward a specific sound. If you have a passion for singing, and are willing to put in the time, I guarantee you will see results.Whether you sing for fun or have previous experience, we can work together to reach your next musical goal.
