Nathan P., a New York City based composer and pianist, has written in a variety of genres and has performed internationally. Nathan is a distinguished alumnus of the Bryn Mawr Conservatory, where he studied composition with Benjamin C.S Boyle and piano with Alexander Panku and Marcantonio Barone. He graduated with honors in harmony, counterpoint, and score reading from the European American Musical Alliance, where his choral works were selected for performance at La Schola Cantorum. Nathan is also active as a pianist, having performed as an accompanist to vocalists at the Juilliard school, in the Philadelphia area as a pianist with the Bel Canto Vocal Concert Series, and in solo recitals. Nathan is passionate about composition and piano pedagogy and seeks to guide students into discovering their unique voice without stylistic restrictions. He holds a bachelor of music degree from the Juilliard School where he studied music composition with Samuel Adler and Steven Stucky, harmony and counterpoint with Philip Lasser, and piano with Aaron Wunsch.
