Chris is a passionate educator who has been teaching for over eight years. He has taught both privately and in schools, and has taught students of all ages. His teaching style is strongly rooted in fundamentals and traditional literature, while also being receptive to the students’ interests. Helping a student achieve their goals and build confidence as a performer is what he strives for.

Chris S. is a freelance saxophonist who specializes in woodwinds, composition, and education. Chris was a regular sub for the 2015-2016 Broadway revival of The Color Purple, and has participated in two Broadway national tours including The Producers (2015) and Guys and Dolls (2014). Chris has also performed with other organizations including Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, the Palace Theater in Manchester NH, and RWS and Associates.
