Manhattan, NY

Ariel grew up in Queens, NY teaching himself guitar through YouTube videos. As his passion grew, Ariel learned instrument after instrument. At 18, he was admitted into the prestigious music school at SUNY Fredonia, where professors embraced his raw talent and turned him into a classically trained musician. He played in the Fredonia Guitar Quartet and the Fredonia Guitar Ensemble, which opened for the Grammy-award winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Ariel was also a member of the church band at Elevation.

Ariel has started and played lead guitar in three bands: One Step Closer, Rootsandleaves, and New Masons. New Masons has since played in multiple music festivals, and opened for X-Ambassadors. Their single “Blocks” was one of the most celebrated new releases on Buffalo radio in 2016.

When he’s not teaching and playing, Ariel produces, engineers, and composes songs for other musicians. He has produced two albums, one EP, and three singles. He’s worked at the famous Electric Lady Studios and Engine Room Audio.

As a teacher, Ariel is patient and attentive. He relates easily to children of all ages and will develop a personalized lesson plan. Ariel’s lessons are fun and ensure that children develop their own love for the instruments they’re learning.

He’s fluent in English and Spanish.
